If you see our Home Compostable accreditation this means a product can be put into your regular garden compost bin and broken down naturally. Check out the RecycleNow website for how to get started composting at home.

There’s a difference between Home Compostable and Industrially Compostable, so make sure that you’re not placing something which is Industrially Compostable in your garden compost bin as it may not break down properly. We require a product to pass the OK compost HOME standard in order to get this accreditation.
