Plastic-Free

This accreditation means the product is 100% plastic-free, including its packaging.

Some brands use bioplastics which are made from organic material like plant and vegetable matter. We currently accept products made with these types of plastics as we recognise this is a step in the right direction and reduces demand for virgin oil-based plastic. However, you won’t see our plastic-free certification on those products as it’s still technically plastic.

We expect all our brands to make every effort to remove plastic in both product and packaging, but sometimes that’s not always possible and so we do work with some brands that use plastic either in their packaging or products. We won’t show the plastic-free accreditation on these.
