Organic
About this accreditation
Organic products are those that are grown or manufactured without the use of chemical pesticides, fertilisers or genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
Organic products have to meet a high standard throughout every part of the growing and manufacturing process. For example, organic cotton cannot get certified if it’s grown without fertilisers but the seeds themselves have been genetically modified.
This accreditation means the product has Soil Association Certification, the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) or Biodynamic Association Organic certification.
